Mission
The NGO's mission is to contribute effectively to the education of the population in general and of young people in particular, with a view to taking into account the challenges linked to gender equality, environmental issues and climate change, based, among other things, on the development and promotion of the richness of Africa's artistic and cultural heritage.
Vision
Building a world of peace respecting the principles of human dignity, where gender equality is a reality, the rights of minorities considered by developing a synergy of actions with partners at all levels so that communities have access to basic social services in an acceptable socio-economic, environmental and political environment.
Get to Know Us
The NGO La Culture Au Cœur du Développement was officially created on October 17, 2018, in Benin, and its national headquarters are in Pobè. Its objective is to contribute to the education of the general population and young people in particular, drawing on the artistic and cultural riches of Africa and the world. With a multidisciplinary staff, the NGO specializes in issues of artistic and cultural promotion, youth, and citizenship, and carries out several eco-citizenship and biodiversity protection actions. It benefits from a strong institutional base and, with other partners and associates, develops synergistic action strategies for greater impact on the world. CACD-ONG's action strategies include communication for social and behavioral change, advocacy, training, socio-professional integration of young people and women, etc. For some time now, it has been developing strategies for the preservation of sacred forests and other tourist sites by investing in the development of ecotourism.
